Massage Bar®, Inc. (www.massagebar.com) established in 1993, is the leader in airport seated massage and wellness services. Massage Bar’s time-tested techniques have relaxed more than a million travelers to date.
Massage Bar is the innovative creation of Cary Cruea, founded in 1993. The concept began when Cruea set up shop as a massage therapist at a clinic in downtown Seattle and found herself targeting the lunchtime crowd. Downtown professionals came to her clinic where she advertised a “Healthy Break” and fashioned seated massage stations along the wall. The idea of providing a permanent site for quick, relaxing tune-ups flamed the fire of Massage Bar, Inc.
Massage Bar’s mission, to provide wellness-oriented personal care services to travelers, has grown in acceptance over the past ten years. Travelers are increasingly unwilling to compromise their wellness for the sake of recurring air travel and are looking for ways to integrate healthy habits into their travel schedules. Massage Bar provides travelers with a shot of relaxation that refreshes the spirit and rejuvenates the mind.
