Aromatherapy Soy Candles

Essential Oils are highly concentrated extracts from herbs, flowers, seeds, and trees, and are derived by a physical process, such as distillation or cold-pressing. These potent oils contain vitamins, hormone-like properties, minerals, and natural antiseptics. The use of essential oils from aromatic plants to restore and enhance health and beauty is known as Aromatherapy.

CONTRAINDICATIONS/CAUTIONS It is important to ALWAYS do a patch test on your skin, on your forearm for example, with any product before applying it to other areas of your body. It is important to dilute essential oil in a carrier liquid, such as water or jojoba oil, before applying to the skin, especially if you have sensitive skin or a history of allergies. Because essential oils can produce physical and mental changes, DO NOT USE during pregnancy! Always keep essential oils away from eyes and in general, away from any mucus membranes in general. Keep essential oils out of reach and away from children and pets. Keep your essential oils fresh and potent by leaving the bottles tightly capped and away from heat and light. Please use common sense when using essential oils and if any problems should occur, consult your physician.

INHALATION Taking deep breaths of essential oil extracts is a common method in helping treat mental and physical ailments. The inhaled essential oils reach the body through the nose and mouth, the lungs, the bloodstream, and then effect the limbic system of the brain by causing a release of hormones and neurochemicals that can produce mental, emotional and physical responses. When using essential oils to help with mental problems, inhale through the nose. When using essential oils to help with respiratory problems, inhale through the mouth and nose.
